Facilities Services Responsibility
Facilities Services is responsible for managing the administration of fuel cards through Pilot Thomas Logistics (Thomas Petroleum) for the purchase of fuel in University-owned vehicles, excluding police vehicles of the University. All University vehicles have access to fuel pumps located at any Commercial Fueling Network (CFN) station nationwide. If a driver experiences issues with the card while attempting to refuel a vehicle at the pump, call the toll-free number listed on the back of the fuel card to reach a representative immediately. They will be able to reset the pump so refueling can begin.
Fuel cards are issued for each vehicle and must be secured at all times. PIN numbers are assigned to individual drivers and should not be shared with anyone. University fuel cards are for official University business only. Any other use is considered theft of University property.
Orders for new fuel cards, replacement cards, deactivations and driver Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) are placed by facilities service contact Michele Morrow. Inquiries can be emailed to Michele Morrow at [email protected] Any questions regarding the program should be directed to Michele at (775) 784-6357.
