Canadian companies will get the new features of Sage accounting software

Sage announced enhancements to its cloud-based business accounting software, including invoice customization and other usability enhancements to provide automation, efficiency and accuracy to enable small businesses across Canada to run their business from anywhere.

The major update of this announcement is the new Plus level of the software. The new tier, along with the previous Start and Standard tiers, is designed to better meet the business needs of Sage’s small business customers. Steve Ryujin, Managing Director (Acting), Sage Canada, told

Inventory management features that come with the new Sage Accounting Plus tier support businesses that trade internationally and manage inventory, with multi-currency banking services coming, the company noted in an Aug. 26 press release. .

“Sage continues to focus and invest in Sage Business Cloud Accounting, such as upcoming multi-currency banking functionality for the new Plus tier and more application integrations across all three tiers. As a client’s business grows from a sole proprietorship, to a scalable business with reporting and cash flow management needs, to a successful business with inventory and multi-currency needs, Sage can now have the right product for each stage of a customer’s growth,” says Ryujin.

Sage accounting software syncs with a business’ banking software and gives owners and operators real-time insight into their business’s finances. Businesses can use the software to automate invoicing, inventory management, financial reporting, tax information, and many other operational tasks.

“With remote work here to stay, small businesses need accurate, real-time information at their fingertips to make smarter decisions and simplify operations,” Ryujin noted.

Some other additions to Sage Business Cloud Marketplace which were made available to users of the software about three months ago include integrations with Lightspeed Retail and Zoho Analytics. According to Sage, Lightspeed lets customers manage operations, accept payments, engage with customers, and sync physical inventory with their online store to save time and increase profits. Zoho Analytics enables customers to obtain, combine, and analyze Sage and third-party data from multiple sources in one place, improving their financial health with end-to-end insights.
