Aim for gold
Sam joins Codestone with over 25 years of finance and business management experience, having most recently served as CFO at GLG Insights and before that JS Group for almost 8 years. Prior to that, Sam’s extensive experience spanned CFO positions at Lush and Capita, as well as other finance and accounting positions at Deloitte and British Steel.
During this exemplary career, Sam also led accounting services for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. During his four years, he oversaw all financial operations leading up to the Olympics. Speaking of his Olympic experience, Sam said: “The stakes were high as it was probably the only project with a fixed deadline on the day of the Opening Ceremony! The project was due for delivery on July 24, 2012.” He went for bending gold and achieved it, receiving the prestigious Business Achievement Award, in recognition of achieving the budget and time of the London 2012 Olympics – a first for all the Olympic Games in history.
